Antique faces of India
Wandering down a narrow back street in Mumbai, I stumbled upon a hidden gem—an old antique shop tucked between crumbling walls and bustling chai stalls. Inside, time seemed to pause. The dimly lit space was filled with the scent of aged wood and the quiet presence of history. Lining the shelves and hanging from the walls were dozens of intricately carved wooden faces, each bearing unique expressions and ethnic detail, whispering stories of India’s rich cultural past. It felt less like a shop and more like stepping into a forgotten museum.
